Modul University Vienna is offering 10 scholarships worth €10,000 each for the Master of Science study programs:
  • MSc in International Tourism Management
  • MSc in Management
  • MSc in Sustainable Development, Management and Policy 
 

Depending on the program, students can specialize in the following cutting-edge fields:
  • Digital Marketing and Social Media
  • Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Leadership
  • Innovation and Experience Design for Tourism
  • Sustainable Management and Governance

Admission criteria
  • Bachelor degree
  • English level C1*

Scholarship winners will be selected based on a holistic approach which consieders the following criteria: academic performance, work experience, English level, experience abroad, extracurricular activities, and community involvement.
 
Applicants who are awarded a scholarship must make their first payment within 30 days of date of admission, otherwise, the scholarship will be revoked and awarded to a candidate on the waiting list. 

Please note that this scholarship reduction can't be combined with any other reduction.

All scholarship applicants will be informed via email no later than the 17th of May.

*All courses are taught in English. Please note that all applicants have to submit an English proficiency proof on level C1. Please submit a recognized language test as TOEFL, IELTS, Cambridge certificate, etc., or alternatively, the Modul University English test can be taken (90 min, €120). The test results must be presented prior to the study start. Applicants who are English native speakers, have conducted their previous education in the English language for a minimum of two years or have used English as a work language for a minimum of two years are exempt from this requirement. However, in any case, the admissions committee reserves the right to request a test if deemed necessary.

Who can write my letters of recommendation?
Please provide two letters of recommendation from academic sources.

Can I compensate my remaining tuition fee by working for Modul University Vienna?
Sorry, this is not possible.

Can I switch the scholarship for the Master of Science (MSc) to a Master of Business Administration (MBA)?
Sorry, this is not possible.


If I win a scholarship, when do I have to start the program?
All winners for this scholarship call must begin their studies on September 18th, 2019.

 
Can I have a personalized meeting on campus?
Yes! Please feel free to schedule a meeting with us. Write to recruitment@modul.ac.at to organize a private tour of the university and Q&A session.

 
If I win a partial scholarship, do I have to pay the remaining fees all at once?
No. You can pay in four equal installments.


How can I apply for the scholarship?
Please use our application tool to submit your application. The formal admission criteria and a list of all required application documents can be found here.


Can I apply for the scholarship even if I do not yet have an English language test?
Yes, you can. You can submit your proof of English proficiency at the latest before the study start. Required is a C1 level on an internationally recognized language test (i.e. IELTS 6.5, TOEFL 88 Internet-Based Test, Cambridge Certificate CAE).

 
Alternatively, you can sit the MODUL University Admissions English Entrance Exam. If you have already studied in English for at least two years, the test may be waived on an individual basis.
